Update! B-Train Boot Camp - 2nd visit.

Ok. So obviously I didn’t die last night on the skating rink floor. It just felt like it at the time… and afterward. But seriously, I will be glad when my body gets used to working out again and the soreness subsides. I can make it through the workouts with less pain after that.

Shawn led us through a different set of exercises which took about 6 minutes a set on average with water breaks between sets. The only thing I felt that was holding me back was the soreness from Monday night’s workout. I’m definitely out of shape people! I’ve never hurt this long after a single workout.

Today, and every Friday I suppose, is Fried Fish at the hospital. This is a luxury if refuse to give up… However, I am used to getting 3 pieces of fish with no sides. Today I will change to one piece of fish and maybe a salad. ..and water, of course.

I don’t think I mentioned it before, but I’m trying to go soda-free. Soda is known to make you retain more water… Hey. I need all the help I can get.

A Diet… again? Not really.

Life Change

Having Lily on her way…. I have decided I need to live healthier. Let’s face it. I am not in shape. I proved that to myself Monday night with B-Train Boot Camp. I have decided I’m not going on a diet. I am just going to change my eating habits by drinking more water, choosing healthier foods, and eating less portions. Here is an example: I am the worst at eating breakfast. So I am getting up earlier to eat after I walk. Technically, I should eat before I walk, but we have time constraints. (I don’t want to get up at 5:30 AM…)

Eating Habits

For the last couple of days, I have eaten a ham sandwich for lunch on wheat bread and a fruit with a 16.9 oz bottle of water. I know I could go healthier, but this is something I am trying to change in my life, so I am taking baby steps. Last week, I would have pondered McDonald’s, of a foot-long Spicy Italian from subway. You get the picture.

Let me share my current situation and my goals with you:

Where I Am Now

  • Monday: 269.8
  • Thursday: 266.6

Short Term Goals:

Life Change

  • Eat Healthier
  • Walk at least 3 time a week.

Weight

  • 230 by November

Long Term Goals:

  • Keep thin
  • Eat Healthy
  • Jog at least 3 times a week

  • 190

It’s Thursday. Boot Camp again tonight. My second class. I am still sore. So sore, I groan every time I sit down. I have even done what I was told, by drinking lots of water… moving around, etc… I even walked for about 30 minutes Tuesday and today. The only reason I didn’t walk Wednesday is that I was so stiff. The soreness is getting better today, but I wonder if I will be able to give 100% tonight.
